Privacy Policy
Sving collects no data.
Last updated 26 October 2026.
Sving is a golf swing analyzer for iPhone, iPad and Android. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. The short version: everything happens on your device, and nothing is sent anywhere.
What the app does with your videos
You film your swing with the camera, or choose a video you already have. The video is analysed on your device, by code inside the app. The video, the analysis and every session are stored only on that device. Your videos never leave the device. They are not uploaded, not backed up by us and not shared with anyone.
Deleting a session in the app deletes its videos and its analysis. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored.
What we collect
Nothing. Sving has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting of its own. The app makes no network requests. The App Store's privacy label for Sving says "Data Not Collected", Google Play's data safety section says "No data collected", and that is the whole truth of it.
This website
svingapp.com uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read and where visitors come from, for example an advertisement or the link on the app's About page. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and processes your IP address and browser details under Google's privacy policy; we see only aggregated figures and can identify nobody from them. This concerns the website only, never the app.
Google Analytics runs only if you accept it in the cookie bar; until then nothing is loaded from Google Analytics and no analytics cookies are set. If you decline, the site works exactly the same. Your answer is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie, so that we do not ask again on every page. You can change it at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; withdrawing removes the analytics cookies. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
Purchases
Sving+ is bought through the store the app came from: Apple's in-app purchase system on iPhone and iPad, Google Play's billing system on Android. The store handles the payment and the subscription, under Apple's privacy policy or Google's privacy policy. The app asks the store whether a purchase is owned so that it can unlock Sving+; it learns nothing else about you from that, and it stores nothing about you.
Permissions
- Camera, to film your swing. Used only while you are filming.
- Photos (on Android, photos and videos), only if you choose to analyse a video that is already on your device. The app reads the video you pick and nothing else.
Both permissions can be turned off in Settings on your device at any time.
Children
Sving collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date. Since the app collects nothing, a change would most likely be a clarification.
